The woese things we ever have to worry about here in Texas is Density altitude which was about 5k ft by 12 today @ +40c, a skid stuck in the mud after a hard rain or a cow walking into my tailrotor, they aint real smart ya know…lol.

Thanks! The pad is concrete and pretty much level, just looks like it’s sloped at that angle. Still though the skids can slide around a little when she’s at gross weight, or do a little tap-dance with a not-so-fun tail wind lol.

Terrific piloting …
Terrific piloting into the confined space then the Max. performance takeoff was great control. Looks beautiful there and cold…lol. Fly safe.

Excellent slope take off at 2:15, what texture is the pad that it didnt slide?
