OMG we share the same dream! I absolutely love flying. I would die just to be a helicopter pilot. I also want to be a warrant officer as well! That would be awesome if we trained together and didnt know it XD. Unfortunately I have a couple years to go.(I’m in middle school).

Looks like she just didnt pull enough collective after the flare for the power recovery, She could have actually set it down for a full auto if the ground there was ok. The 180 actually looked nice till the end.

student doing hovering autos for the first time with the instructor. there was a mis communication between them and instead of correcting the yaw with the pedals the student used the cyclic. end result is a rolled heli
machine was a write-off but both student and instructor walked away, which is all that matters in the end

Still not 100% sure. We were light and into wind. Trying to stop the auto in the hover but she kept sinking. Left pedal hit the stop, yawed right and the instructor took control just in time to save it from rolling. good save on his part.
